The peace of God which comforts man
envelops one serene
like a beautiful glassy sea
the calm of which is seen

as a picturesque natural view
may soothe the eye appeal
the peace at hand that’s felt inside
is truly very real

one cannot understand it all
the mind cannot discern
how peace of God works in through man
its nature can’t be learned

for the peace of God here on earth
which passes understanding
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ
since life is demanding

bless God He knows what’s good and pure
His wisdom meets our needs
for every aspect found in man
His grace will supercede
____
what a precious valuable gift
that nothing can compare
than receiving peace from the Lord
Who keeps one in His care

for when the Holy Ghost does come
He leaves His peace with man
sent from Jesus Christ in glory
a part of God’s great plan
